Well.. I haven't read much at all but with all summer off I'm going to get stuck in to all the books that I bought in Hay. I've been listening to Britney, Nicki Minaj and Patrick Wolf

I am loving Gaga's new album, it took me a while to get into, but now I'm obsessed! Especially loving 'Bloody Mary', 'Americano' and 'Electric Chapel'!
ReplyDeleteThose ties are very cute! xx
So jealous of your white iphone, I'm lusting after it for macbook matching times too! x
ReplyDeleteLove the creepers, hope your first day went fabulously well! x
ReplyDeleteMy brother has got me into 'born this way' - It's one that sticks in your head, can't help yourself to have a sing to it :P Those bow ties are very sweet, reminds me a little of how brandon flowers wears his in the killers... he's also in my top 10 'men of dreams' list ha!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the comment, I agree it's an interesting discussion! There are artists who say they don't have any theory behind their work e.g. automatic drawing technique, however my lecturers would argue that having no theory is infact the theory... so I can't win haha! I understand what you mean about the large 19th century paintings; they're not my thing really either. I was at a gallery in Berlin and there were a couple of floors full of them and in all honestly I did get a little bored by the second walk through although I was still gobsmacked by the superb detailing. I agree that those who 'talk the talk' are irritating however at the same time I deeply envy their confidence as I know that's what will benefit them in the future, whereas I'm far more introverted.
Also just want to say I agree with the Blur artwork a couple of posts down, I remember seeing it in London and adored it! I'm a big blur fan myself, I've always had a bit of a fasination with Graham Coxon myself! He seems like a smashing bloke haha
I'm loving born this way too. Been on none stop since I down loaded it.
ReplyDeleteApple is king in our house too. All of us have/had iPhones along with iPads and mac book, oh and apple tv and time capsule!
Good luck with the job Hun. Hope all went well with your first day.

ReplyDeleteI loved reading Frankenstein when we did it for A - Level such an over layered story well before it's time.
As you know, i'm loving the Gaga album! Also loving those neck ties, i'm thinking i may have to DIY one to jazz up some of my old shirts!
