Jumper from American Apparael
Denim shirt, necklace and boots from Topshop
Dress from H&M
Hat and tights from ASOS

Wore this on Sunday to chill in Brixton with my friend S. Ended up changing shoes before I went out, couldn't bare heels twice in 2 days so wore my creeper brogues instead. Love these tights, but they aren't the best for the cold weather at the minute. I bought myself this statement necklace on Saturday after being inspired by Jen and all her lovely jewellery, it really makes a plain jumper stand out.

Went to the ZOMG Bloggers Bash last night which was a lot of fun. I really enjoy hanging out with my favourite blogger gals and it's made me really excited for the London Lunch now as even more people I know will be there. I'm going to the Wolf and Badger event in Notting Hill on Thursday evening, is anyone else is going along?
Have you been up to anything exciting lately x

Coat, dress and boots from Topshop
Cardigan from H&M via eBay
Belt and bag from Primark
Necklace from Stolen Thunder

How much fun is this bag, it's like a mini suitcase? I bought it just before Christmas and think it's the cutest thing. I don't often go to Primark, I'm one of those people who never find anything decent in there (maybe I should go more often) but I was chuffed to find this and I don't think I've seen anyone else with it which is another nice thing.

This is a replacement cardigan for one I had previously but lost during my work party in December. It's the perfect length for dresses so I was pretty annoyed to loose it but I found the exact same one of eBay for a few quid so all is good now!

I wore this outfit yesterday to do some shopping on Oxford Street, I picked up a few things and have my eye on some lush boots. Quite surprised I lasted the whole day in my heels, but to be fair I was hobbling home by the end. I had a lovely veggie lunch in Beetroot Cafe which I highly recommend and I also nabbed a couple cupcakes from Lolas too.

I've had a really nice time chilling this weekend. It's my first easy weekend since the beginning of December and I've tried to make the most of it i.e. catching up on telly! Last weekend I was in Liverpool and Birmingham the weekend before so it's nice to relax at home for a change.

Have you had a good weekend x

Heavy Duty Footwear

It's no secret that I have a thing for shoes. My wardrobe is busting and the box under my bed is over spilling but in my opinion a shoe can really make or break an outfit so it's important to have choices. I like all sort from ballet pumps to trainers from platform heels to over the knee boots but the thing that is most important for me is chunkiness! I don't do pretty, petite, fancy shoes. I do big, chunky, (sometimes) unsightly shoes. I like stomping around, feeling tall with a platform or childish with some colour. I like creppers, Doc Martens, wooden platforms... you get my drift. When it came to choosing only one pair from the Sarenza website for a chance to be in their ambassador programme I was stuck for choice, so much heavy duty footwear I could barely choose my top three let alone number one but rules are rules and after much deliberation about chunk factor, versatility, practicality and appearance I made my choice.

But first my short list...

I love shoes

T-strap sky high by Swedish Hasbeens (Pink) | Sarenza UK | Your..., £145
Wendy Bis by Ash (Brown) | Sarenza UK | Your Sandals Wendy Bis Ash..., £187
Hacienda by Underground (Black) | Sarenza UK | Your Wedges Hacienda..., £102
Page w Dr. Martens (Rouge) : livraison gratuite de vos Bottines et..., €129
Kosty Mellow Yellow (Blanc), £84
Jodphur by Swedish Hasbeens (Black) | Sarenza UK | Your Boots - Short..., £129

Nice aren't they? Well my number one decision has gone to none of these. Instead it's this gorgeous pair of Jeffrey Campbell flatforms.

Beebee by Jeffrey Campbell (Black) | Sarenza UK | Your High heels...

Lovely aren't they? And the best thing is they are in the sale and would go with so many outfits; pretty dresses, skinny jeans you name it!

I'm in love, are you x

Me in NYC

I've been finding it difficult to blog recently because I've been so busy. New year and new resolutions and all that but I'm desperate to show off my New York photos so here are some snaps of me in various tourist spots. I took hundreds of photos during my week there but unfortunately I don't have that many of myself, it's always the way when you go on holiday... Imagine if a group of bloggers went on holiday, we could take so many pictures of each other it would be perfect but alas I digress.

Are you sick of my coat, hat and scarf because I am! It was very cold when we were there, no snow unfortunately but still the need for many layers hence my identical appearance everyday. Has the nerd in you spotted my TV situation photos? They did make me chuckle. Unfortunately we didn't find Carrie's apartment as I would have quite liked a picture sitting on the steps there. I started the week of wearing my Doc Martens but bought some Uggs at the end because they we pretty cheap compared to home (£100 instead of £170), I needed them to keep my freezing toes warm.

More pictures to come soon x

Last week I was in New York with 3 of my best friends. We had an absolute whale of a time sightseeing, exploring and going out. I only got back on Monday and I haven't had time to go through the 700+ photos I took but because I've been so desperate to blog I thought I'd share my Lady Gaga photos will you.

The uber fancy department store Barneys has been home to Gaga's Workshop for the past couple of months. The shop was curated by the lady herself with all sorts of limited edition goodies from sweets, books, toys, jewellery, you name it. We were lucky enough to visit the shop on it's last day and boy am I glad we didn't miss it. The shop truly was a Gaga experience with the giant monster sculptures, crazy wall designs and dirty pop music. I bought myself a massive tote which came in extremely useful for hand luggage on the way home, a compact mirror and a specially designed NARS lipgloss all of which I'll show you another day.

More NYC pictures coming soon x
