Monochrome in more than one way

Picked up an amazing necklace in the Tatty Devine sale last week. I'd seen it ages ago but thought it was a little on the expensive side so I was delighted when it was reduced by 50%. I also bought this amazing Harry Potter necklace from Victoria. I'm such a Harry Potter nerd so I love this to bits.

Top from Topshop
Skirt from H&M
Egyptian necklace from Tatty Devine
Deathly Hallows necklace from Victoria
Loafers from Office

I wore this to outfit to work last week when it was really sunny. Fortunately this is one of my lace tops that isn't too see through. I'm really grateful for working in an office environment where I can wear what ever I want. That's the good thing about 'science' jobs, we don't really do suits!

I bought an iPad last weekend and I've been playing on it non-stop. It's perfect for blogging and social media plus I can read the paper from it every morning instead of getting my fingers all inky. The thing I love the most about it is how it matches my iPhone and MacBook in all it's white wonderfulness!

I'm sort of obsessed with instagram too as well as the monochrome effect. When I look at my 'normal' pictures I think they look so dull in comparison now but I suppose that's what Photoshop is for.

Are you an Apple geeks like me too x

Your pharaoh necklace kind of reminds me of the jewelry from Pretti Vacant. You should check out their website!

By the way, cute outfit. I'm always for a cute and simple outfit. It's been great to see how creative you are with your clothes. Been reading this blog from the very start!

  13. Haha! I came on to write exactly what Sophie did earlier: "I wish I could afford to be an apple geek." But I am honestly drooling at your Apple collection.
I can't wait for HP either and 'cause I work in a cinema I'll get to see it early so I'll let you know what I think!

  15. Both your necklaces are awesome, that Egyptian one is so eye-catching! I saw a golden snitch locket on someone's blog too, it looked brilliant. I wish I was an Apple geek, but alas the student budget won't allow. I love my iPod Classic to bits though, and when I eventually get to upgrade my phone I am definitely getting an iPhone.

  16. Lovely lace!
But the white iPhone 4 really caught my eye, it is the most pretty phone ever.
Mine is 4 as well but it's black and looks just like a boring piece of boy phone.
    Lovely blog :)

  23. The role of a cultural media manager has appealed to the mass generation of socially-active internet users. It's hard not to. Especially when some might think that you can earn big bucks from posting Facebook updates. Hardly.
