What a sock

Last week I picked up a few goodies from the Topshop extended sale, I know I shop there far too much but I just love it plus it's the only decent clothes shop in Putney. Whilst I snapped a few bargains I was annoyed to see a few recent purchases now cheaper including my gem jumper and cape which is now cheaper than eBay!! Anyway I got this dress and pair of socks on the cheap (plus a jumper) so I can't really complain.

Fur gillet, dress and socks from Topshop
OTK boots from Office
Necklace from Zara Taylor Jewellery

These socks are a treat because they are so massive and warm, I adore them! The cable knit is huge so the texture they bring to an outfit is really special, I'm so glad I found them. The dress was also in the sale and was the same price as the socks!!! It has a Peter Pan collar, of course and the floral pattern will be perfect for print clashing this summer.

I left it too late to snap these photos outside which is annoying because the lighting and corridor are really horrible! If I had the choice I'd love to snap my pictures by a lovely brick wall a la Winnie but my garden is too busy with plants, furniture and randomness. Even a plain white wall with natural lighting would be a better substitute to the landing but a place like that is also lacking in my house since the only white wall is in a room with no windows!!

I actually wore this outfit on Monday when G, K and I went to Nando's for a girly Valentines day dinner. I was surprised to see so many couple there because even though I love the chicken I don't really think it's the most Valentines day appropriate venue. We had a lovely evening and ate some delicious food yumyumyum.

Tomorrow London Fashion Week begins and I'm super excited since it's the first time I've ever been. I'm looking forward to seeing the exhibitions and meetings fellow bloggers and even though I'm not going to any of the shows I'm going to take plenty of street style photos. I even made business cards at work this week which I'll show you tomorrow, I love them =)

See you at Somerset House x

  11. The fur coat is lovely with the floral pattern! and I hate it when things go into the sale or are further reduced when you've already bought them! Depressing stuff!
