Clothes Twins 2

Milly and I had such a fun time doing the Clothes Twins post a while back that we decided it was time to do another one. So here it is... Clothes Twin 2 featuring our red Swedish Hasbeens x H&M clogs and a peach coloured shirt from Topshop that was bought in the January sales.

Because the shoes are red I decided to go all out and embrace the colour. Red is a colour I'm really loving at the minute so I had no qualms about doing an outfit head to toe in it.

I kinda cheated for the second outfit and wore the shirt underneath a tshirt so you can only see the collar. If I take off my jacket you can see the sleeves but it kinda looks ridiculous like that so I kept the jacket firmly on that day. I really like this shirt, it's slightly sheer but the only problem is that the sleeves are far too long.

How cute are the scallop edges on the shorts? Topshop has some great shorts in at the moment and I love this silk, pink and denim pair! Anyway, don't forget to head over to Milly and check out how she has styled the 2 items. I haven't seen her pictures yet so I'm just as excited as you guys!

School bag

When I was in Reading flat hunting last week I popped into the local Primark to buy a pair of leggings because it was freezing and I stupidly had my legs out. I spotted this cute little satchel and knew it would be perfect for work. I've decided that I'm going to buy an iPad 2 at the end of the month so I want to make sure my everyday bags are going to be big enough to fit it in. I'm a fan of big bags anyway so this shouldn't be a problem.

It's a sort of cheap alternative to the Cambridge Satchel Company bags so I'm pretty chuffed with my find as it was only £9.

Museum of Childhood

Ages ago I went to visit my friend G at the V&A Museum of Childhood in Bethnal Green. G volunteers in the archive department on Fridays so I took the opportunity to head over East and check out the museum as I'd never been before. It was full of toys and children's clothes and the best thing was that I recognised a whole load of things from my own childhood.

When I was little I only ever played with one type of toy, Slyvanian Families. I had so many of them as well as houses and furniture. I cherished them so much that they are still in boxes in the loft as I've never had the heart to give them away. My sisters played with Barbie, Polly Pocket and that big yellow tea pot but I stuck with my funny little forest animals. I thought it would be a fun little idea to put together a childish outfit for you. What screams little girl more than Hello Kitty and pink shoes? This cardigan reminds me of Pac Man too.

The kid in me still lives on. I'm a bit of Toy Story fan and have a bunch of the characters under my bed plus I used to collect rubber ducks (don't ask). I can't help but loving Doctor Who too and for Christmas G bought me one of these awesome Adipose toys. I used to have a huge remote control Darlek too but I gave that away to the neighbours but we still have this little one knocking about the house. I still use my Nintendo DSi and play Pokemon the odd time. I'm actually pretty lame aren't I?
