Old boots

Yesterday I spent the afternoon in the South Ken museums and got to wear my new eBay purchase. I had been searching for this Topshop dress on eBay for over a year but it was always being sold for silly prices. Last week I decided to have another look for it and low and behold I found it brand new and for a third of the original price, bargain!

Dress from Topshop (via eBay)
Leather jacket from Primark
Leather boots from Office
Tights from River Island

For the first time in ages it wasn't cold enough to wear a full on coat so I wore this jacket and a massive scarf to give the floaty dress a bit more of an edgy look. The dress is a cross between cream and light pink which is quite suitable for the ballet phenomena that's been going around thanks to Black Swan. I love how it's oversized and so that the skirt swishes as you walk, which will be perfect for the summer. The tights are covered in little hearts which are cute, a nice change from polka dots which I also love.

I went to see the Kings Speech on Tuesday night and though it was excellent. Now I've seen all the current films that I want to I have no idea what to go and see at the cinema next. Any suggestions people?

Don't forget about my 20% off code for Zara Taylor jewellery, it's BOWDREAM x

  14. I've got like the same dress!! Well not the same, because mine is from H&M but they look VERY much the same!! What can I say.. great minds think alike! :P Haha.. though I've been wearing with chunky cardigans from Zara and jeans because it's been far too cold to be fashionable :P But having said that, one should always be fashionable despite of the weather :P haha!
I'm going to see it tomorrow, but I'm not sure I'm excited yet.. hm. I think , well i KNOW it will be good, everyones been praising it so much , but I dont know.. maybe i'm just not excited about anything at the moment? :P

  22. I remember that dress from when it was in topshop, it does fit the ballet theme perfectly. I hate it when people really overprice things on ebay on buy it now and clearly no one is buying it because it's so expensive. Grrr, at least you've succeeded in getting in now!
